| Q: |
Why is the "Genre" I am looking for not in the list? |
| A: |
Don't worry! It'll be in the list as soon as a band of your desired genre signs up! |
| Q: |
Why isn't my country in the "by Country" explore option? |
| A: |
As soon as a band from your country signs up it will appear in that list. That goes for all the other explore options too. These lists will grow as more bands sign up.
We don't want people to search & explore with no results because that is really iritating!
We're trying to keep the results of exploring the TotalMusicNut download platform as high as posible.
When you use the "Free Search" option it is possible that you won't get a result. Try to be creative when you use that option to get a good result. |

| Q: |
How do we price our album? |
| A: |
Remember that this is digital music so it should be cheaper than an album you would buy in a 'normal' record store with physical cds!
We recommend a download price of somewhere between 6.00 or 8.00 euro for a full album (TotalMusicNut keeps just 1.50 euro per album download).
EPs or Demos should be priced lower but it's really up to you! Be generous to your fans and people who just discovered your music and note that you will sell more music if you keep the prices low. |
| Q: |
Can we still sign up and sell our music if we don't have a full album? |
| A: |
Sure! Feel welcome! Just read also the answer to the question about 'How do I price our album?'. And please don't be scared to just email us first (we're pretty cool people ;-) |
| Q: |
Does TotalMusicNut own our music when we sign up? |
| A: |
No! TotalMusicNut will never own your music! The contract between you and TotalMusicNut is very simple. When you sign up you have to sign a digital agreement which gives TotalMusicNut the NON-EXCLUSIVE right to sell your music online. It's NON-EXCLUSIVE so you can sign up with other online music stores too. |

What if we can't find the answer(s) to our question(s)? |
| A: |
Don't worry. There's always an answer :-) Just email us at: totalmusicnut@gmail.com |
| Q: |
What makes up an album? |
| A: |
For TotalMusicNut an album is just a "titled group of songs". And even if you have a single (just one song) it still be be an album (an album with one song). So if you have a good sounding song your recorded for a demo, a live recording, etc. Just give that collection of songs a title and voila: you got yourself an album!
You could even team up with familiar or befriended bands from your genre who also have just one or two recorded songs and then together make a great compilation album.
Just remember: an album can not be longer than 74 minutes. |
| Q: |
How does the Free Search work? |
| A: |
Well, just type anything you like. For example: if you are looking for a band that is inspired by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, just type that bandname and you might get a great result. If the word is in their profile, you'll find it. |
